Workster is partnering with a global leader in customer experience and business solutions to recruit French-speaking AML Compliance Officers for a project with a leading European financial services company – an online payment institution for freelancers and SMEs. This is a great opportunity to develop expertise in financial compliance, AML/CFT, and risk management, working in an international environment.

Your Role

  • Analyze alerts in order of priority and within defined timeframes, in line with regulatory requirements and client procedures.
  • Conduct due diligence, collecting and validating the necessary documentation to build case analysis files.
  • Perform enhanced reviews of AML/CFT and financial risks, making well-supported decisions for each alert based on pre-defined scenarios.
  • Process alerts with accuracy (clarification, homonym analysis, etc.).
  • Identify suspicious transaction patterns and escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of reviews and decisions in compliance with audit standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Your Qualifications

  • Fluent French (C1) and good level of English (B2+).
  • Analytical and writing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • General understanding of banking systems and financial services.
  • Awareness of KYC and AML/CFT practices.
  • Experience in account statement analysis, alert processing, and enhanced reviews.
  • Familiarity with atypical operations and suspicious transaction patterns.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Good computer literacy and ability to use multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Availability to work on-site in Athens, Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00.
