Workster is partnering with a global leader in customer experience and digital solutions to recruit German-speaking Fraud Activity Agents for a technology project in Barcelona, Spain. Your Role

  • Investigate and verify suspicious activity using internal tools and predefined processes.
  • Collect, review, and validate customer documentation to assess potential fraud.
  • Resolve high-risk cases within established timelines, ensuring accurate and timely action.
  • Monitor pending cases and follow up if documentation is not received within required timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all cases while adhering to internal protocols and SLA standards.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in sensitive or escalated cases.
  • Apply marketplace process knowledge and fraud indicators to mitigate risk.
  • Proactively identify areas for workflow improvement and share recommendations.
  • Uphold professionalism, autonomy, and sound judgment when managing high-impact cases.

Your Qualifications

  • Fluent German (C1) and advanced English.
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience in fraud prevention, back-office support, or a related role within a digital marketplace.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, adaptability, and active listening.
  • Ability to manage complex or escalated interactions with professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, using tools like knowledge bases, search engines, and AI effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, autonomous, and accurate in task execution.
  • Technical understanding of operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows) and ability to explain them clearly.
  • Experience using CRMs, fraud detection tools, and shipment tracking systems.
  • Resilient under pressure, with excellent decision-making and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Proactive in sharing best practices and contributing to team improvements.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining professional integrity.
