Workster is partnering with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy to recruit a Norwegian-speaking Customer Support Agent for their Riga office.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. You will work within a fast-paced and international customer service team, helping users of a global payment platform with their requests while maintaining high-quality service standards.
This is a full-time, on-site position with the potential for a hybrid work model after three months, depending on performance.
Your Role
- Handle incoming customer requests via phone, chat, and email
- Provide accurate resolutions to customer inquiries related to a payment platform
- Record case resolutions in the contact center tool and ensure timely case closure
- Escalate priority issues as per client specifications when necessary
- Work both independently and as part of a team
- Maintain professional communication with internal and external contacts
- Deliver an exemplary customer experience, meeting quality standards for every interaction
- Follow the defined work schedule and punctuality expectations
- Meet performance targets, including response time, handle time, and resolution rate
- Attend training sessions and adapt to changing work priorities
Your Requirements
- Fluent Norwegian (B2) and proficient English (C1) (both written and spoken)
- Previous experience in customer service (outsourced environments preferred)
- Willingness to relocate to Riga or already residing in Latvia
- EU citizenship or valid work permit for Latvia
- Computer literacy, including fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 50 WPM with 90% accuracy)
- Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation
- Positive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Must pass a background check
