Workster is hiring for a BPO with great employee satisfaction ratings to find a Senior Web Developer for their Team in Limassol.

As a Senior Web Developer, you will be a pivotal member of our development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining web applications. You will leverage your expertise in JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks (such as React, Angular, or similar), PHP, and WordPress to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

Your Role

  • Take a lead role in the development and implementation of web applications using JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks, PHP, and other relevant technologies
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines
  • Implement and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers
  • Write and execute test scenarios to ensure the robustness and reliability of web applications
  • Utilise extensive experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin development
  • Customise and optimize WordPress solutions to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other relevant field
  • At least 4 years of demonstrated experience in web development
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in Limassol or willing to relocate
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PHP
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar
  • Proven expertise in WordPress development, including theme and plugin development
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes is a plus
  • Proven ability to write and implement test scenarios for web applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
