Workster is partnering with a fast-growing company in the e-mobility sector to recruit a Team Lead – E-Bike Mechanics for its refurbishment centre in Gennevilliers, Paris

In this role, you will lead a team of mechanics restoring a wide range of electric bikes, ensuring smooth daily operations, high productivity, and top-quality standards. As the most experienced technician on the team, you will act as the key point of reference for complex repairs while also driving team performance and continuous improvement.

Your Role

  • Lead, support, and develop a team of mechanics, ensuring strong performance and continuous skill growth
  • Act as the technical expert, diagnosing complex issues and setting high repair standards
  • Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to deadlines
  • Ensure all refurbished bikes meet strict quality control standards before delivery
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, customer service) to streamline workflows
  • Promote a positive team culture and maintain a safe, organized working environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workshop best practices

Your Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in e-bike mechanics (ideally 5+ years)
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Advanced ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of e-bike models and systems
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for sustainable mobility and high-quality technical work
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Basic computer skills (email, Office tools)

The Offer

  • Full-time permanent contract (CDI), 39 hours/week
  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 – Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
