Workster is partnering with a global technology and services leader to recruit a French-speaking Technical Partner Engineer for their Barcelona office. In this role you will be part of our team of game-changers who are powering the brands of the future in tech where you will drive the sales cycle, nurture client relationships and showcase your expertise in advanced cloud technologies.

Your Role

  • Provide technical guidance to partners, helping to remove blockers and ensure smooth integration and migration.
  • Recommend integration and migration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure needed for successful implementation
  • Own the technical relationship with partners, empowering them to execute pilots and proofs of concept.
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge as the primary technical liaison, offering solutions and overcoming challenges.
  • Manage client relationships and engage with clients to propose the best solutions.
  • Work closely with partners during migration, ensuring they have all necessary tools for successful deployment.
  • Lead partners towards customer acceptance, facilitating the transition from technical proposal to commercial proposal and ultimately securing contractual agreements.

Your qualifications 

  • Are bilingual or proficient in French plus fluent in English
  • Have 2-4 years of experience in a Technical Support/Engineer role in a Cloud Computing environment, or equivalent practical experience in a customer or partner-facing role
  • Possess knowledge of cloud computing concepts, such as Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS technologies (a plus)
  • Have experience presenting and delivering technical presentations
  • Bring a strong channel management and pre-sales background (a plus)
  • Have excellent communication and client management skills
  • Hold a GCP Cloud Digital Leader certification

Nice To have

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hold Google Cloud Certifications, such as Professional Cloud Architect and Associate Cloud Engineer (a plus).
  • Experience in data and information management related to big data trends and business challenges.
  • Have experience using and/or managing databases.
  • Understand networking concepts, including routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls.
  • Have experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
  • Are able to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies in the cloud/IT space.
  • Hold additional cloud certifications (an important plus).
